Every business we help build gives a veteran a path to ownership and independence. We track tangible progress and share those results so supporters see how their generosity helps veterans build livelihoods, support their families, and strengthen their communities.
Our Year One plan
- 16 week cohorts

Our first cohort begins in January 2027 with three veterans, followed by two cohorts of five. After year one, we plan to expand cohort sizes based on funding, team capacity, and program results, while maintaining the high-quality, hands-on support each veteran receives.

Follow the work from participation to the next milestone.
We track enrollment and completion, the agreed deliverables completed, and participant milestones such as entity formation, launch readiness, first customers, and financing decisions. We identify the reporting period and the information available for each update.
How we measure success.
Success starts with the veteran.
Our first measure is simple: did the veteran make the transition into owning a business they believe in, built on their own terms? Every veteran leaves VVF owning 100% of their company, and we track whether that business still reflects what they set out to build.
Then we measure the business.
A launch is the beginning, not the finish line. We follow every company we help build for years after graduation, tracking whether it survives, grows, hires, and raises capital.
Then we measure the impact.
Every veteran-owned business creates jobs, generates revenue, and strengthens a local economy. We report these results openly to our donors, partners, and community.
